Develop Projects

Develop projects for health and social care facilities, indoor and outdoor sports hubs, leisure facilities and open spaces.

Delivery Plan

Work with Breckland Council, Norfolk County Council, landowners, developers and other interested parties to produce a plan delivering the projects.

Communication

Over the 6 week consultation period every effort will be made to engage with the local community, including the hard to reach, to consult on the ANP and using various methods to include;

  • Attleborough Matters (7,000 copies printed and distributed to every household and business in the town as well as drops to outlining villages.)
  • Press and radio coverage.
  • School engagement.
  • Shoppers and visitors in town.
  • Social media and through the website.
  • Posters and flyers.
  • Event attendance including the Christmas Lights.
  • Displays in busy places in town including the Library.
  • Talks at various social groups.

Every effort will be made to ensure everyone has the opportunity to be involved at the consultation stage.

Review of the Neighbourhood Plan

The ANP will need to be constantly reviewed and updated as development takes place. The community will need to appoint a group to do this. If a proper review system is not introduced the ANP runs the risk of being another meaningless document which gathers dust on an office shelf. With proper reviews and updating, it will provide the basis to deliver the ambitious vision for Attleborough.
